My professional journey in Aeronautical Information Management
"In aviation, the quality of information is as critical as the aircraft itself. My mission is to ensure that every piece of aeronautical data serves safety and efficiency."
As an Aeronautical Information Management Officer with the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority for the past 8 years, I have dedicated my career to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of critical aeronautical information that pilots, air traffic controllers, and aviation stakeholders rely on daily.
My journey in aviation began with a passion for the intersection of information systems and flight safety. With a background in aviation information technology and specialized training in aeronautical data management, I've been at the forefront of Uganda's transition from traditional Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) to modern digital Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) systems.
Throughout my career, I've led initiatives to implement ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), particularly Annex 15 requirements, while collaborating with regional and international partners to enhance the quality and accessibility of aeronautical information across East Africa.
